Trullo Scrumptious
On November 14 LIMEKILN, the exclusive private-hire events space in Eridge, will host the first of its supper clubs when it invites chef Conor Gadd from the legendary Italian restaurant Trullo down. Read on to discover how you can be a part of this exceptional dining experience in this picturesque pocket of East Sussex…
In April of this year, LIMEKILN, an exclusive private-hire lodge, opened its oh-so-stylish doors. The venue, which is set in 60 acres of ancient woodland in Crowborough, East Sussex, is fast becoming the place to go thanks to its stunning interiors, picturesque location, curated offerings and aesthetic attention to detail.

It regularly hosts all manner of exclusive private events including weddings, pop-ups, lunches and parties, as well as both corporate and creative gatherings, and is owned by the founders of Kin House, the UK’s hottest social space.
At the heart of LIMEKILN is a beautiful white lodge, which boasts incredible Pierre Frey interiors, a variety of function spaces and also a nine-hole golf course.
The venue, which also showcases the work of many local artisans, is now offering discerning diners the opportunity to experience some of the country’s best cuisine thanks to the launch of its new supper clubs.
The first one kicks off on November 14 with Conor Gadd, head chef at Islington’s Trullo restaurant taking over the venue’s impressive kitchen/dining space. Famed for its authentic Italian dishes, Trullo was established in 2010 and is now a firm fixture on the capital’s foodie scene.
The Trullo menu will reflect LIMEKILN’s woodland setting and the finest epicurean offerings of the season. It will also chime with the venue’s foodie philosophy of offering simple, delicious and unfussy cooking that celebrates the joy of eating.
LIMEKILN’S inaugural supper club diners will have the opportunity to feast on many of Trullo’s legendary and delicious delights including smashed pumpkin and ricotta crostini, porchetta stuffed with wild herbs, pancetta and mustard Tuscan potatoes and caramel panna cotta.
